Terms and Conditions

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

1. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any changes will be notified to you via email or post. The changes will apply to the use of DIY Rescue after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use our services. If you continue to use our services after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of DIY Rescue’s services indicate your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

2. Using Vouchers
A voucher is redeemed by giving it’s unique number at the appropriate point in the sales purchase process. Redemption may be subject to you providing proof of entitlement to use the voucher.

3. Distribution of Vouchers
Vouchers distributed by any other party than DIY Rescue without our written approval are not valid for use and may be refused or cancelled.

4. Permitted Use of Vouchers
a) Vouchers are fully transferable.
b) Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
c) Vouchers can be used in lieu of payment for any of the services provided.

5. Security and Fraud
When you use the voucher you warrant to us that you are using it in good faith.

6. Miscellaneous
We reserve the right to vary or terminate the operation of any voucher at any time without notice.

7. Service
DIY Rescue will provide a handyperson for the duration of the voucher purchased. Time is purchased in ½ day or 1 day increments whereby ½ day equates to 4 hours work and 1 day equates to 8 hours work. Any breaks taken by the handyperson are not included in this time.
In the event a list of jobs is provided by the customer the handyperson will endeavour to carry out all items on the list, however due to unknown circumstances this may not be possible and discussion will be required in order to ensure that more urgent jobs are carried out during the time purchased. The customer is permitted to pay additional hours to ensure all their requirements are met should this be required.

8. Restrictions of Service
This service is currently only available to persons living in the Reading area. This must include the final recipient of the voucher.

9. Materials
All materials are to be provided by the customer unless a prior arrangement has been made with DIY Rescue. It is important that the customer checks any materials for their suitability prior to your voucher time being carried out.

10. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
